New in PhotoMover V2.1.2 is an applescript to work with iPhoto Albums. Now use iPhoto to directly and easily e-mail resized images, or upload to: DigiProof, Club Photo or FotoTime.

If you are a digital photographer PhotoMover can be indispensable. PhotoMover moves (using email, ftp, and http transport) and adjusts/resizes without changing your original photos from a source (any file, folder, or application like iPhoto) to a destination (an email address, ftp site or one of the free online photo upload services like ClubPhoto).

The source can be area where the photos reside like the Finder as a file, folder or hard drive and in an application like iPhoto, or another image viewer like PhotoShop, Graphic Converter, iView MediaPro, Cumulus, QPict, PhotoRelay, ACDSee, ImageViewer, Image Browser and many others.

The process of moving is via email, ftp, or http transport. PhotoMover also can automatically adjust your images to the correct size and in other ways as they are being sent out.

The destination can be a friends email, an ftp site and/or one of the photo upload services like Club Photo, DigiProofs, and FotoTime.

PhotoMover can be very handy to anyone who has a digital camera. Simply drag and drop to email and upload your photos to different destinations. PhotoMover can automate many operations because it is applescriptable.

PhotoMover works with and uploads (in the background) to the best and most popular photo archive sites on the net. Share all your digital photos with family and friends without having to email megabytes of images. Your clients, friends and family can order professionally printed copies of your photos on many different media (including cd’s, photographic paper, posters, t-shirts and mugs) from these sites and have them shipped anywhere.

It is quick and easy to use and works with other applications such as iView MediaPro and Apple's Image Capture application included with Mac OS X for use with digital cameras.

Photomover will convert and scale images and upload to selected sites and albums.

Any format readable by QuickTime that is not supported by a site is converted to JPG at upload time. QuickTime will convert most image file formats including TIF, GIF, PICT, PNG, Flash PIX and other formats.

Photomover is scriptable and recordable with AppleScript and has several sample script for automating upload and annotation of images. PhotoMover has several options for logging your upload, see global options below.

Choose your host from the supported hosts in the preferences dialog of PhotoMover, then select a file or files to upload. Alternatively, drop image files onto the PhotoMover icon in the Finder or One of PhotoMover's custom scripts.

PhotoMover work with Apple's Image Capture application in Mac OS X. Make PhotoMover or a Custom AppleScript as the completion action. All images you download will also be upload.

PhotoMover is essential for working with iPhoto, Cumulus, QPict, iView Media Pro, Image Browser, Extensis and many other image browsing programs.

You must have an account with one of the photo websites PhotoMover supports to upload images. If you don't have one yet, go to any of our partners to register:

Set up an account(s) and write down or remember the log in info.

Setting up the on-line host information:

Once you have an account to use, select the host, and filling the account information in PhotoMover's preferences.

If you choose to use more than one host, setup each host. Using the supplied AppleScripts you can upload to multiple host at once and change most setting as needed.

Global options:
The options to the right are options that applied to all on-line hosts.

Log file options are useful when you are upload images in the background or when you are not around to watch the upload and would like a list of images that have been upload. The log file is a plain text file and can be read by text editor or ther programs.

Log files, Thumbnails and Play sound on completion can be changes at any time, including during upload.

Requirements PhotoMover Mac OS v8.1 - v9.21 and Carbonized for Mac OS X, QuickTime v3.02 or later (QuickTime 5.1 recommended), PowerPC and an internet connection.

PhotoMover supports AppleScript

PhotoMover is globel preferences and actions are recordable and scriptable. If you don't know how to write AppleScript, open the Script Editor and press record. Then go to PhotoMover and walk it through it's steps once.
